From pig slaughtering and meat product processing to deep processing of soybeans, wastewater treatment, and health services… These seemingly unrelated industries are now effectively strengthened, supplemented, and extended at Linyi Xincheng Jinluo Meat Products Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jinluo Group) through technological empowerment.

As the year comes to a close, Jinluo Group’s annual production capacity upgrade project for 300,000 tons of meat products and a co-production project for 100,000 tons of animal fat protein are entering trial production stages. This indicates further improvements in the industrial chain of this leading enterprise located in Lanshan District, Linyi City.
For over 30 years, Jinluo has continuously enriched its meat product categories, responding to the pain points of traditional sausage by launching starch-free, low-fat, and reduced-sodium products, focusing on innovation in low-temperature meat products and German-style ham to meet international taste demands with advanced technology. Currently, Jinluo boasts the largest fresh meat processing workshop in Asia, slaughtering 20 million pigs and 200 million chickens annually, producing 2 million tons of meat products, and establishing 245 offices and over 3,000 distributors nationwide with a million-level sales network.

At the same time, Jinluo extends the pig processing industrial chain to achieve “maximal utilization,” processing by-products like pig hair, blood, and bones into products such as protein powder and hemoglobin. The production line is equipped with multiple “electronic sentinels” to monitor quality, fostering diverse processing through the synergy of standard construction and technological innovation and driving the growth of the local healthy meat products industry cluster.
As the “chain leader” in Linyi’s healthy meat products industrial chain, Jinluo has expanded into multiple industrial sectors, entering deep processing to break through reliance on imported soybean protein. It currently processes 500,000 tons of soybeans annually, ranking first in Asia and third globally, with products exported to over 90 countries, effectively reducing industry costs.
To address wastewater from slaughtering, Jinluo established an environmental protection department in 1995, which has now become an influential water treatment enterprise in the Middle East, with several proprietary technologies patented and national projects undertaken, forming multiple treatment models and promoting industry progress by solving its own issues.
With an annual output value reaching 10 billion yuan, Jinluo drives over 200 upstream and downstream enterprises to gather, while Lanshan District leverages this to upgrade its industrial cluster and enhance its influence as a “national-level food processing base.” Currently, the healthy meat products industrial chain in the district includes 22 enterprises above designated size and seven leading enterprises at the provincial level or above, achieving a production value of 24.616 billion yuan in the first ten months of this year, with a growth rate of 7.2%.
Moving forward, Lanshan District will collaborate with Jinluo to promote the transformation of the industrial chain in terms of “three modernizations,” attract supporting projects based on its resource advantages, and expand into markets in South America and Africa, with an anticipated total industrial chain output value of 50 billion yuan by 2028.
